Ottawa, Canada: Thursday, September 19, 2024 — MDKMITL is proud to announce its official partnership with the 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 (𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗜), a prestigious non-profit subsidiary of the 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮. Our innovative program at MDKMTIL is honored to be the first medical program in Thailand to be collaborating RCCI and MDKMITL. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 was established to uphold world-class standards in postgraduate medical education and professional development through collaboration with partner institutions globally.
Our leadership, including 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻, Dean of MDKMITL, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴, Associate Dean for International Affairs, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗻, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, travelled to Ottawa, Canada, to the RCCI Headquarters for the formal 𝗠𝗼𝗨 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in medical education collaboration between MDKMITL and RCCI.
Our delegation was warmly received by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the RCCI team, who were instrumental in making this partnership a reality. Present at the signing ceremony were key leaders and representatives from both the Royal College and RCCI including 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀, President, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, Chief Executive Officer, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶, Executive Director, Office of International Collaboration and Advancement, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and Chief Operating Officer, RCCI, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗮𝗶 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼, Associate Director, Development and Advancement, RCCI, whose support and collaboration have been pivotal in shaping the future of this partnership. Their expertise and vision will play an essential role in the joint efforts to enhance medical education and develop world-class postgraduate residency programs at MDKMITL.
As the first international medical program in Thailand to forge such a partnership with 𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗜, we are dedicated to exchanging knowledge, adopting best practices, and continuously improving our curriculum to ensure that our medical students, as well as future postgraduate residency programs, meet the highest international standards.
This milestone represents our unwavering commitment to shaping the future of medical education in the 21st century, advancing excellence, and fostering global cooperation in healthcare both in Thailand and beyond.
Of course, this partnership would not have been possible without the tremendous support of the Trade Commission Team from the Embassy of Canada in Thailand.
