Day 2 – Exciting Collaboration Between MDKNITL and Royal College Canada International (RCCI)
On January 14, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting our esteemed guests for a visit to the Clinical Class at Sirindhorn Hospital. This enlightening experience was led by Professor Anan Srikiatkhachorn, M.D., the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). He was accompanied by other distinguished contributors, including Professor Thanyaphong Na Nakorn, M.D., Ph.D., and Sranya Phaisawang, Ph.D., who serves as the Associate Dean for International Affairs. Their combined expertise greatly enhanced the value of this visit, providing insights into the training and educational experiences available at our institution.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed colleagues at Sirindhorn Hospital for their warm hospitality and exceptional guidance during the visit. Specifically, we appreciate the efforts of Dr. Pornnari Thasayaphan, M.D., the Deputy Director of Medical Affairs. Alongside her, we acknowledge the contributions of several key medical professionals, including Dr. Natthaphong Angasudhasavit, M.D., Chief of the Medical Education Department; Dr. Tham Vidayavadhana, M.D., Chief of the Internal Medicine Department; Dr. Jarkrit Thaincewakul, M.D., Chief of the Surgery Department; Dr. Namwan Kittikool, M.D., Chief of the Pediatric Department; Dr. Junpen Peanmanakit, M.D., Chief of the Anesthesiology Department; Dr. Wanasri Phaisaltuntiwongs, M.D., Chief of the ENT Department; and Dr. Prathan Buranakulkijkarn, M.D., a Medical Physician. We would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Akaradech Pitakveerakul and Dr. Supamongkol Mutchamee, both Medical Physicians, for their guidance and insights at the Ortho OPD alongside our Year 4 students.
Following our enlightening session at Sirindhorn Hospital, we were delighted to provide our guests with a guided tour of the new King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital (KMCH). This tour was led by Associate Professor Prasert Trivijitsilp, M.D., and Dr. Yuthana Sethanand, M.D. During the tour, they showcased the state-of-the-art facilities and capabilities of our new hospital, highlighting our commitment to advancing medical education and healthcare services.
