MDKMITL Is Forging Futures Through Global Medical Partnerships with Tokai University School of Medicine (TokaiMed)
We are proud to announce the successful establishment of a new strategic academic alliance between the Faculty of Medicine, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (MDKMITL) and Tokai University School of Medicine in Japan.
On June 4, 2025, our MDKMITL delegation led by Dean Professor Anan Srikiatkhachorn, M.D., and Associate Deans, Dr. Ananwat Sermswan, M.D., and Dr. Sranya Phaisawang, Ph.D., Director of General Administration MDKMITL, Miss Pinyanij Chetsadawiriyawong, and Academic Officer, Miss Chitanuwan Choochomchuen visited the Tokai University Medical School and Tokai University Hospital campus in Isehara, Japan and the Main Shonan Campus in Hiratsuku, Japan.

This momentous step marks the culmination of extensive preparation and shared vision, bringing together two institutions committed to advancing international medical education. The newly formalized partnership paves the way for student exchanges during the clinical years, giving aspiring medical professionals from both countries the opportunity to gain valuable cross-cultural and clinical experience in diverse healthcare environments.
This collaboration underscores the long heritage and partnerships of both institutions for over 60 years. Now, with our medical programs working together, we are able to explore medical education frontiers and create medical innovations together. MDKMITL’s ongoing mission is to build global bridges in healthcare and to shape physicians equipped with both local understanding and international perspectives.
