MDKMITL Wai Kru & White Coat Ceremony 2025
On July 17, 2025, MDKMITL proudly hosted our annual Wai Kru, White Coat, and Awards Ceremonies—a meaningful tradition where students express gratitude to their medical teachers, past and present. This event celebrates the dedication of mentors who help shape the next generation of compassionate and globally minded physicians.
Led by our visionary Dean, Prof. Anan Srikiatkhachorn, M.D., the Deans Committee, the entire MDKMITL instructor team, along with honored guests from Sirindhorn Hospital, including Dr. Adisorn Vittangkrun, were all in attendance for the MDKMITL White Coat Ceremony 2025. This time-honored tradition hallmarks a significant moment for our second-year students as they received their white coats, marking their entry into the medical profession. This celebration highlights our commitment to fostering integrity, honesty, and humility in all our activities while fostering the core values of MDKMITL.
The event concluded with an award ceremony consisting of the medical instructor and medical student recipients of the Morality Ethics Award from the Medical Council of Thailand. This year, we were proud to present this prestigious award and honorary trophy to Dr. Phannarath Sawangsuk, (Acting Head of the Department of Pediatrics) from Sirindhorn Hospital and Mr. Salin Hatakaroon, Year 5 student (Academic Year 2024), respectively.
Other MDKMITL students who have shown exemplary behavior, academic and extraordinary achievements were awarded with certificates from the faculty. Overall, it was such a wonderful opportunity to recognize our international medical students and their contributions to the faculty and society.
At MDKMITL, we honor past traditions and values while fostering the future culture of excellence for years to come. See you next year!
