On November 26, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (MDKMITL), led by our Dean, Professor Dr. Anan Srikiatkhachorn, is partnering with Bangchak Corporation, CMKL University, and the King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital Foundation to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the soon to be opened KMC Hospital.
On November 23, 2024, MDKMITL proudly participated in 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗦𝗠𝗦𝗧) 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 at the Airport Link Makkasan Station, 3rd Floor., connecting with high school students and parents from across the country. We showcased our innovative program and shared the values that make our international medical faculty unique, inspiring aspiring future physicians to join us on their journey to success.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all esteemed guests and prospective students who joined us at this year’s MDKMITL Open House. It was an honor to welcome everyone interested in exploring our international medical program, and we truly enjoyed opening our doors to future healthcare leaders.
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, MDKMITL held its 2nd Annual Sports Day for all students and staff. This was a great opportunity to reconnect with our students from Years 1-4 in a fun and highly competitive environment. With 5 teams designated by their House Mascots, we had the Grizzlies, Orcas, Broncos, Eagles and Wolves, coming together to partake in the day’s sporting activities.

𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗻, Associate Dean for Innovation and Research had the great honor to meet with the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine (uOMed) at the General Campus for introductory discussions for future collaborations between our two programs. We were enthusiastically greeted by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘂𝘁, Vice-Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿, Vice-Dean of Internationalization and Global Health, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗖𝗼̂𝘁𝗲́, Vice-Dean of Research, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻, Assistant Dean of Curriculum for the MD Program, and the rest of the uOttawa team who graciously opened their faculty to us for a site visit of their campus after our introductory meeting.

On September 13, 2024, MDKMITL had the privilege of hosting Professor Hiroyuki Katoh, M.D., Ph.D., along with a group of medical students from the Tokai University School of Medicine. Our visitors were warmly welcomed and given a guided tour of our faculty building, where they were introduced to key facilities and educational resources.
On August 30, 2024, MDKMITL’s very own Associate Dean Thipawan Ruangrit M.D. and Dr. Kantaphong Thongrong attended Singapore Polytechnic’s first collaboration with one of its Regional Consortium Partners to co-host the event outside of Singapore.
