MDKMITL Welcomes the School of Medicine, Tokai University
Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Professor Dr. Hiroyuki Katoh, Associate Professor Dr. Takaaki Kinoue and their medical students from Tokai University, School of Medicine, to MDKMITL. Dr. Katoh lectured about new AI and AR/VR technologies in his field of orthopedics. Our students were engaged and inspired by Dr. Katoh’s lecture which encouraged our young international medical students to continue working hard to make medical innovations of the future a reality for our present day.
After the lecture, we gave our esteemed visitors a tour of our faculty where we shared our medical education philosophies and agreed that 21st century skills are more important than ever in today’s highly competitive healthcare environment.
It is this forward thinking and agile approach that we foster at MDKMITL to help develop our international medical students into highly competitive clinician researchers who can make a difference.
We thank our visitors from Japan, Dr. Hiro from the Tokai University-KMITL Campus and our good friends at the Office of International Affairs, KMITL for a great first meeting and look forward to fruitful collaborations with the School of Medicine, Tokai University in the near future.
