MDKMITL Wai Kru and White Coat Day 2024
MDKMITL Wai Kru and White Coat Day 2024
On July 25, 2024, MDKMITL held its annual Wai Kru, White Coat and Award Ceremonies, a cherished tradition where students honor their medical teachers, both past and present, for their dedication and sacrifice to developing the most capable 21st Century doctors.
Led by our visionary Dean, Prof. Anan Srikiatkhachorn, M.D., along with the Deans Committee and the entire MDKMITL instructor team, the White Coat Ceremony was a significant moment for our second-year students as they received their white coats, marking their entry into the medical profession. This celebration highlights our commitment to fostering integrity, honesty, and humility in all our activities while fostering the core values of MDKMITL.
The event was concluded with an Awards Ceremony recognizing the outstanding achievements of our faculty and students. Associate Professor Prasert Trivijitsilp, M.D., Director of King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital, was honored by the Thai Medical Council for his exemplary performance and ethical dedication. Additionally, our sixth-year student, Ms. Kanisorn Thongpitukthavorn, was celebrated for her excellence in Thai medical education. Other MDKMITL students were awarded Certificates of Achievement for their academic and extracurricular contributions as well.
The annual Wai Kru Day and White Coat Ceremony at MDKMITL are not just special events; they are important to who we are. They show our commitment to high standards in medical education and our dedication to training the next generation of caring and skilled healthcare professionals.
As we move forward, we are committed to improving medical knowledge, practicing ethically, and providing excellent patient care.
