On Wednesday, 13 August 2025, our Year 1 medical students embarked on an educational excursion to the Thai Red Cross Society in Bangkok, visiting both the National Blood Centre and the Snake Farm at the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (QSMI). The trip, part of the Philosophy of Medicine course, was guided by Dr. Sranya Phaisawang, Associate Dean for International Affairs, together with Instructor Asst. Prof. Theerapan Songnuy, M.D., Instructor Asst. Prof. Ratakorn Srisuttee, Ph.D., and Instructor Asst. Prof. Fingani A. Mphande-Nyasulu, Ph.D.

On July 22, 2025, MDKMITL had the great honor of welcoming Dr. Tanasit Kangkorn to give a special lecture on Medical 3D Printing. The session was well-received by both our medical students and faculty members, who showed strong interest and enthusiasm throughout the class.

On July 17, 2025, MDKMITL proudly hosted our annual Wai Kru, White Coat, and Awards Ceremonies—a meaningful tradition where students express gratitude to their medical teachers, past and present. This event celebrates the dedication of mentors who help shape the next generation of compassionate and globally minded physicians.

After a fruitful start with the Online portion of our annual MDKMITL PreMed Camp, we welcomed our latest cohort, MD08 to join us onsite at our faculty from June 11 to 13, 2025. This special MDKMITL onsite installment of the PreMed Camp is a welcoming experience designed especially for our newest first-year medical students.

We are proud to announce the successful establishment of a new strategic academic alliance between the Faculty of Medicine, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (MDKMITL) and Tokai University School of Medicine in Japan.

On May 24, 2025, we reached the final day of the MDKMITL Medical Education Annual Seminar. The day was dedicated to reviewing and summarizing the key discussions, ideas, and activities from the past few days. Together, we evaluated our action plans and strategic directions for the coming academic year. These forward-looking discussions are vital to ensure the ongoing progress and excellence of Thailand’s first international medical program at MDKMITL.

On May 23, 2025, we kicked off the second day of the MDKMITL Medical Education Annual Seminar by summarizing the key takeaways and discussions from Day 1. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the ideas shared and prepare for another day of meaningful learning and exchange.

On May 22, 2025, we officially kicked off the MDKMITL Medical Education Annual Seminar at the Faculty of Medicine. It was a great honor to welcome our special guests, Secretary General of the Consortium of Thai Medical Schools (COTMES), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Sirisup, M.D., and Asst. Prof. Chaichana Nimnuan, M.D., Ph.D., who kindly joined us for this meaningful event. The day began with feedback sessions from our Year 1 to Year 3 medical students. Their thoughts and suggestions were shared and followed by a group discussion to reflect on their learning experiences.

On Monday, March 9, 2025, MDKMITL had the honor of welcoming again, Mr. Sanjeev Chowdhury, Senior Trade Commissioner at Canadian Embassy’s Trade Commission Team, along with his team, to our Year 1 World Culture Class.

On February 27th, 2025, we celebrated a momentous occasion—the graduation of our inaugural cohort of international medical students. This marks the beginning of their journey as doctors, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication, resilience, and achievements.
