The Great Gatsby Graduation Gala!
A huge congratulations to our first MDKMITL graduates!
On May 10th, 2024, we celebrated a significant milestone: the graduation of our inaugural cohort of international medical students at “The Great Gatsby Graduation Gala” held at Gaysorn Urban Resort, Gaysorn Tower. This event marks the beginning of their journey as doctors, and we extend our warmest wishes for their success in their medical careers.
The MDKMITL program is committed to fostering a new generation of international medical students. Our goal is not only to train doctors but also to cultivate well-rounded professionals. We focus on developing robust professional and research skills, as well as essential 21st-century abilities like communication and collaboration. This comprehensive approach prepares students to become internationalized doctors—physicians with a global perspective ready to serve our community effectively. Their dedication and the skills they acquire here ensure a future marked by impactful contributions to the healthcare landscape.
Becoming a doctor is a challenging endeavor that demands immense dedication to study and resilience in the face of emotional challenges. However, overcoming these obstacles leads to growth and learning. We are proud of the hard work and determination displayed by our graduates throughout their six years of study. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement! We have no doubt that you will continue to excel in your medical careers.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the esteemed individuals and organizations who have supported us throughout this journey. This includes Professor Emeritus Khunying Kobchitt Limpaphayom, M.D.; Associate Professor Dr. Nantana Sirisup, MD, Secretary General of the Consortium of Thai Medical Schools; Professor Kittipong Kittayarak, Ph.D., Chancellor of the KMITL Council; Air Vice Marshal Ittiporn Kanacharoen, M.D., General Secretary of the Thai Medical Council; Associate Professor Komsan Maleesee, Ph.D., President of KMITL; Professor Suchatvee Suwansawat, Ph.D., Former President of KMITL; and Umporn Kiatpanabhikul, M.D., along with the dedicated teams at Sirindhorn Hospital.
