The Orientation of PreMed Camp 2024

June 17th, 2024 marked the first day for our incoming first-year medical students. The initial steps are crucial to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable transition into medical school at MDKMITL. To facilitate this, we have designed a unique PreMed Camp 2024 experience for all our new medical students. This special camp is intended to introduce them to the MDKMITL and provides an opportunity for first-year medical students to learn about various aspects of academic knowledge, learning skills, daily university life, and culture.

The camp will equip first-year medical students with essential skills in an informal setting and will help them acclimate to their new environment before the academic year begins. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know their friends, senior students, and instructors.

Our MDKMITL program aims to produce globally competitive physicians who possess professional competencies that meet international standards. The program emphasizes the development of 21st-century skills such as innovation and critical thinking, both of which are crucial for research competencies. We strive to cultivate doctors with an international perspective who can effectively address global healthcare concerns.

Our PreMed Camp 2024 will start with online sessions from today until Friday, June 21, 2024. Onsite activities at MDKMITL will follow from Tuesday, June 25 to Thursday, June 27, 2024. These activities help ensure that students feel well-prepared and supported as they begin their medical education journey.
